Diogo Vaz Cavaleiro

Born in Lisbon 1996, graduated in 2015 from Antonio Arroio Professional Arts School, majors Sculpture/Ceramics. In 2017 founded with José Henrique Neto the puppetry company Folia.
Some artistic collaborations:
2015 – with Musa Paradisiaca, three different exhibitions – at the Eugénio de Almeida Forum, Évora; at the Chiado National Museum of Contemporary Art (SONAE Media Art Award), Lisbon; at the Serralves Contemporary Art Museum, Porto;
2016 – with Susana Gaudêncio, O Teu Corpo É O Meu Corpo-Repertório at the Berardo CCB Museum, Lisbon, where he published A Publicar-facsímile;
2018 – technical assistant to a sculpture in the exhibition “do tirar polo natural”at the National Museum of Ancient Art, Lisbon.
Also: Production assistant for the Gil Vicente play Auto da Barca do Inferno, at the Hieronymite Monastery, Lisbon 2016-17. In charge of coordination with schools, he received about 12,500 spectators.
Since 2018 he teaches Communication and Story-telling to primary-school children at two Lisbon schools.
